Sign up for an upcoming class and you can get a chance to use our new clickers!   Horticulture Agent Randy Fulk prepares for a class on Landscape Water Management.  This was his first attempt at using clickers and it was a successful endeavor. Master Gardener Alice Kiger shows how easy it is to use this new technology.  Ms. Kiger reports, "Clickers are cool!" Agricultural Taxation
Issues Workshop (Farm Tax School)

Confused about new law changes and how they affect agriculture? Sign up for one of NCSU's Agricultural Taxation Issues Workshops (formerly known as Farm Tax School). Extension specialists from the Departments of Agriculture and Forestry will use lecture, example problems, and discussion to cover agriculture-related tax issues. There is no pre-requisite for this program; all skill levels are welcome. Participants will receive a take-home workbook with detailed examples and problems. Call 919-515-2261 or visit ncsu.edu/opd to register. Nearby dates include 11/4/2014 in Statesville and 11/10/2014 in Greensboro, but other locations are held throughout the state.
