 Stokes Cooperative Extension will present the annual Small Farms Day in Stokes Tour on Thursday, March 23, 2017. The annual tour visits 4 – 5 innovative small scale farming operations affording the public the opportunity to learn about the varied types of agricultural enterprises in Stokes County.

Stops on this year’s tour highlight- agritourism, specialty plant nursery production, forest management, and specialty crops.

The tour van will depart the Cooperative Extension office in Danbury at 8:30 a.m. and return at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

There is no cost to attend the tour but advanced registration is required.
