A new fact sheet has been published by NC State Cooperative Extension concerning land title due diligence in advance of development of an industrial scale photovoltaic facility (commonly called a “solar farm”). The fact sheet – Legal Issues Surrounding Due Diligence for Solar Development – is written by Robert Andrew Branan to prepare landowners for the land title issues which will require resolution for a solar lease and development to move forward. Comments and questions are welcome to rabrana2@ncsu.edu.
