2025 4-H Dog Artistic Expression Competition

Youth are invited to participate in the third annual 4-H Dog Artistic Expression Contest. Stokes County 4-H entries are due to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Stokes County Center by May 30, 2025.

*If you are participating from another county please see the following drop-off locations:
  • Burke County 4-H Office in the West District
  • Guilford County 4-H Office in the center of the state, or
  • Duplin County 4-H Office in the eastern part of the state
Entries must be turned in to these locations by May 30, 2025 as well. Please note that your home county may have an earlier deadline than May 30, 2025, to ensure all entries are delivered to the locations above on time.Youth should:
  • be enrolled in 4-H Online (and approved) for 2025
  • Enter the 4-H Dog Artistic Expression Event in 4-H Online
  • Deliver ONE item per category (or less) with the appropriate tag and entry information to Stokes County Extension Center at 700 N Main Street, Danbury, NC 27016 by the deadline OR deliver them to your County Extension office by their requested deadline.

  • Crafts/Mixed Media
  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Poster
  • Photography
  • Digital Art (includes digitally enhanced photography)
  • Sewing

Contact your local 4-H Agent to possibly coordinate item drop-off. All items must be at one of the three sites listed above by the state deadline, so your county deadline will be sooner. Winners will be announced at the NC 4-H State Presentation Finals on the advertised date. There are lots of prizes being handed out. Read the rules here.
