Join Stokes County Cooperative Extension and CFSA at Plum Granny Farm in King, NC on December 4, 2025 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm for an in-depth exploration of high tunnel production and organic management practices. We will compare and contrast six high tunnels of different sizes and configurations and hear useful strategies and innovations for successful season extension and high tunnel growing.

We will tour Plum Granny Farm and learn about the various enterprises, crops, and cropping systems employed on this impressive certified organic operation. And, we will discuss what it takes to operate under organic certification and highlight production techniques that follow those guidelines.

You don’t have to be a certified organic grower to attend this event! This session will be held inside a greenhouse and while touring the farm. Please dress according to the weather, and pack water and lunch.  Registration required.
