We are Stokes County Senior Services and are located in the Community Services Building, 700 N Main Str. Danbury NC 27016. We serve the older adults of Stokes County, 60 years of age or older. The services we provide are limited medical and general transportation, Meals on Wheels, physical activity programs, and congregate nutrition. We have on-site hot lunch programs Monday-Friday at both King and Walnut Cove sites, for those that are registered. There is a program each day before lunch. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., Monday-Friday.

Senior Services also partners with Yadkin Valley Economic Development District, Inc (YVEDDI) to provide legal services to the older adults in our county. This program is offered by issuing voucher to cover legal fees for things like wills, power of attorney, things of this nature.

Senior Services also offers assistance with Insurance Counseling through the State Seniors' Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP).

Senior Services also offers programs to those adults 55 years of age or older by offering the Activity Programs at the Walnut Cove Senior Center located at 308 Brook Street. The Activity Programs offers opportunities for fellowship, physical fitness, and cooking!
