Master Gardener Volunteers of Stokes County
In Stokes County, Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers work with N.C. Cooperative Extension to provide gardeners with unbiased, research-based information on gardens, lawns, and landscapes.
Under the guidance of our Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent, volunteers complete a 40-hour training program, pass an examination, and complete a 40-hour internship. To remain active in the program volunteers must log a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service and 10 hours of continuing education each year.
If you would like more information about the program or have questions, please contact Bryan Hartman the Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent at bryan_hartman@ncsu.edu or by phone (336) 593-8179. Be sure to like us Stokes Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association on Facebook!
