Explore our local trails with us! King Parks and Recreation is offering a series of hiking meet-ups once a month from June - November. N.C. Cooperative Extension of Stokes County will also provide educational information on various nutrition and health topics at each hike. This month we will discuss proper hydration.
On August 27, 2021, we will be exploring the Sauratown trail - we'll hike from the Brim's Grove Parking Lot for approximately 2-3 miles on easy to moderate terrain.
We will meet at the White Road parking lot of Recreation Acres, caravan to the hiking spot, and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature!
If you've always wanted to get out there, but don't know where to go or don't want to go alone, this is the program for you! No need to travel far to enjoy the outdoors - let's appreciate the beauty of our backyard!
