It’s time for Summer!
Stokes County 4-H is excited for our summer line-up! Please read over everything carefully and pay attention to all details. All youth and families will be required to read over the Stokes County 4-H Summer Fun Guidebook.
We have a full list of opportunities for youth ages 5-18 to participate in, such as Nature Camp, STOKEd for STEM, Local Foods and Farm Tours, Cloverbuddies, Craft Your Calm, Pet Pals, 4-H STEM Camp (Regional), and Life Skills 4-H Camp.

- When: June 3rd – 5th *THREE DAYS
- Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Ages: 8 -18
- Location: Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Stokes County Cooperative Extension (700 N Main Street Danbury, NC 27016).

STOKEd for STEM
Come explore robotics, electricity, and solar energy with us! Youth will visit a local solar site, learn about Sol Systems (solar energy), Rivian (electric vehicles), and more! Come ready to learn through hands-on activities.

- Time: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Ages:

- Cost: FREE – Sponsored by Sol Systems!

Local Foods and Farm Tours
Where does your food come from? Come learn as we tour local farms (Sunset Acres, Plum Granny’s, Saura Creek Farm), a local farmers market (King Farmers Market), and several farm stores (Manuel Farms, Mitchell’s Butchery, Daily Basket, The Market by Dragonfly, and Moser Farm Market). Lunch will be provided on 6/19, but you will need to bring a bagged lunch on 6/18!

Craft Your Calm
It’s spa time! Learn how to nurture your body and mind with natural ingredients while on a journey of wellness and pampering. We will be making our own scrubs, creams, and soap!

Cloverbuddies 4-H Camp
- When: July 8th AND 9th * TWO DAYS

4-H STEM Camp (Regional)
This STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Camp is like no other you have ever been to! You will get a chance to use multiple types of robotics, and coding programs. You will get to use Junk Drawer Robotics where you will build a catapult then you will move onto more advanced robotics curricula where you get to build with Legos! We will be using Lego WeDo, Spike, Dash & Dot and Sphero. Indoor drones will be used and challenges of course! We will have Digital Literacy experts come with the computer lab and teach a class which will be a ton of fun! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Instructors are North Central District 4-H Agents.

- Time: 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
- Ages: 9-15
- Location: Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Stokes County Cooperative Extension (700 N Main Street Danbury, NC 27016). We will be traveling as a group to Rockingham County (Reidsville) each day.

NC 4-H Congress
Join us for four days in Raleigh with youth from around the county. You will elect new State 4-H Officers, participate in awesome workshops, hear from engaging speakers, and much more. Details are still being finalized, but they will be released soon. ** Contact Taylor to register for Congress!
- When: July 21st – 25th
- Ages: 13 & up as of January 1st
- Location: NCSU – Raleigh, NC
- Cost: TBD once details are sent from NC 4-H
- Space: 10
Life Skills 4-H Camp
- When: July 28th – 30th *THREE DAYS
- Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Ages: 8-18
- Location: Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Stokes County Cooperative Extension (700 N Main Street Danbury, NC 27016). We will be traveling as a group to Guilford County (Greensboro) each day.
- Cost: $40
- Space: 12
All participants and families must read through the Summer Fun Guidebook. All youth who participate in any 4-H activity must abide by the NC 4-H Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures.
