Blackberry Research Trial

(Updated: June 1, 2022, 9:06 a.m.)

The blackberries have experienced tremendous growth because of our recent warm weather. You can already see the genetic differences between the varieties. Each variety has unique traits that are quite impressive. The blackberries will not produce any fruit with this year’s growth because they are biennial, meaning some years they produce fruit and other years they may not.
