There will be a poultry processing training on Thursday, May 16 at South Stokes High School beginning at 9:30 a.m. This course is required in order to rent the Mobile Poultry Processing Unit (MPU) from N.C. Cooperative Extension – Stokes County Center.

Join us to learn to use the mobile poultry processing unit to process poultry for consumption. Topics include pastured poultry management, the exemption and inspection process to sell meat, as well as the opportunity for hands-on processing.
