Spotted Lanternfly Workshop

Have you heard about the Spotted lanternfly, this new invasive planthopper? The first live population of spotted lanternfly was found in Forsyth County, North Carolina, near the border with Guilford County in June 2022.

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Stokes County Center is hosting North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Plant Industry Division, and Plant Protection Section to provide a Spotted Lanternfly Workshop for Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin Counties. All are welcome to come and learn about spotted lanternfly (SLF) identification, pest behavior, treatments available, and how to prevent its spread.
