Walking has a number of health benefits, including improving cardiovascular performance, reducing risk of stroke and heart attack, decreasing fat tissue, and stimulating digestion.

N.C. Cooperative Extension of Stokes County and the City of King Parks and Recreation Department is offering a walking group open to people of all ages to walk at their own pace. We will walk for about 30 minutes and then enjoy refreshments provided by N.C. Cooperative Extension ofStokes County.

Start your day off right with some invigorating exercise, fellowship, and a healthy snack!
