Exercising With Your Baby

For most of my life, I have been a fairly active individual. I played sports from age five until I graduated high school. Exercising has always been something I found relaxing and important. In August 2019, I had my daughter and exercising became very different. Getting a workout in was more of a challenge with a baby, so I needed to find a way to get some exercise, while also entertaining my daughter.

I have found a few ways to incorporate her into my workouts and it works out for both of us! A few weeks ago, I posted a workout video where I was using her as my weight for different exercises. This week during our Mother/Daughter workout we used the stroller. This workout is perfect to do while out walking, and will add a little extra movement to a routine walk. We did this while out for an evening walk, and after three rounds, it felt great. If you do not have a baby or use a stroller, then don’t worry, this workout is still something that you can incorporate into your walks.
