No Bake Energy Balls

Hydrating after a workout is very important, but lets not forget to replenish our carbohydrates and promote muscle growth with a healthy snack. This recipe is quick and easy and will last for a week in the refrigerator.

No Bake Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter (I used sunflower butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (ground)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • (Optional ingredients: 1/2 cup shredded coconut flakes, 1/2 cup raisins or flaxseed)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined
  2. Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours
  3. Roll into 1 inch balls
  4. Enjoy!

Refrigerate in a sealed container or freeze.
