Recently I have taken gluten and dairy out of my diet. I have chosen to do this for my own reasons. Gluten and dairy were something that my body didn’t handle well and I decided it was in my best interest to give them up. Gluten isn’t bad for you and neither is dairy when consumed in moderation, just like with all things. I only tell you this to provide full transparency in the recipes I chose to showcase.
Fall is in full swing, I’m not excited about it, but I am excited for apples. I love apple pie, since I have chosen to take gluten out of my diet, the classic apple pie isn’t in the cards for me. I found this recipe and was a little hesitant about it. How is this going to replace apple pie? Well let me tell you, it sure did! This recipe is so easy but so delicious!
